ReGrind Solutions was born from a passion for sustainability and a commitment to leave the world better than we found it. Our founder’s journey began in aviation, where exposure to the challenges of decarbonizing flight sparked an interest in biofuels. Later, work in the coffee industry revealed the untapped potential of the coffee bean—and the staggering reality that millions of metric tons of spent coffee grounds are discarded every year, often landfilled or, at best, composted.

After completing an MIT program in sustainability, we decided to turn this insight into action. Our mission is simple yet ambitious: transform spent coffee grounds from a waste stream into profitable, sustainable value streams. Instead of generating methane emissions in landfills, these grounds can power aircraft, become bioplastics, and even contribute to healthier products for people and communities.
